Experience the untouched beauty of Northeast India on this carefully crafted 7-night tour covering Assam and Meghalaya — two of the region's most spectacular states.
Arrive in Guwahati, gateway to Northeast India. Transfer to Kaziranga National Park — home to 70% of the world's one-horned rhinoceros. Enjoy morning and afternoon jeep safaris. Spot rhinos, elephants, wild buffalo and tigers in their natural habitat.
Drive to Shillong (4 hours), the capital of Meghalaya. Visit Ward's Lake, Don Bosco Museum, Elephant Falls and the vibrant Bara Bazar. Explore the pine-covered hills and enjoy the pleasant weather year-round.
Head to Cherrapunji (Sohra) — one of the wettest places on earth. Trek to the iconic double-decker living root bridges of Nongriat. Visit Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Cave and Seven Sisters Falls.
Return to Guwahati for last-minute shopping at the local silk market. Evening departure.
October to April is ideal. Avoid monsoon (June–September) for Cherrapunji as visibility is low, though Kaziranga is excellent post-monsoon (October–November).
