Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 — Arrival Guwahati / Tezpur: Arrive at Guwahati Airport (GAU) or Tezpur. Transfer to Bomdila (7–8 hours via Tezpur). Overnight Bomdila.

Day 2 — Bomdila: Visit Bomdila Monastery, apple orchid belt, craft centre and viewpoints. Overnight Bomdila.

Day 3 — Bomdila to Tawang: Drive to Tawang via Sela Pass (4,170m) — one of the highest motorable passes in India, with a stunning glacial lake. Arrive Tawang. Overnight Tawang.

Day 4 — Tawang Monastery & Sightseeing: Visit Tawang Monastery (400-year-old Gelug Buddhist monastery, the largest in India), Urgelling Monastery (birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama), War Memorial, Tawang Market. Overnight Tawang.
