Wildlife You May Spot

Royal Bengal Tiger (Corbett has one of India's highest tiger densities), Asian Elephant, Leopard, Sloth Bear, Spotted Deer (Chital), Sambar Deer, Gharial, Mugger Crocodile, and over 580 bird species.

Best Time to Visit

November–June is open for safaris (Dhikala zone closes July–October for monsoon). March–May is ideal for tiger sightings (dry season, animals congregate near water).

Important Notes

• Safari bookings require advance reservation — slots fill up fast, especially on weekends.
• The Dhikala zone is restricted — only guests staying inside Corbett forest rest houses can do a full-day Dhikala safari.
• This is a wild forest — tiger sightings are never guaranteed.
