Points of interest in Manali
Manali is blessed with beauty of all type of tourist interest which you can discover during your Manali Trip. During your Manali Trip you can visit the most famous point of interest in Manali which are:-
Rohtang pass: – far about 51km from Manali, is one of the main tourist excursion for snow activity here like skiing, skating, paragliding, snow scooter, and more. The best time to enjoy here is from April to May. During winter the place is strictly close due to heavy snow fall.
Hadimba Temple: – located about 5km from Mall road, is a historical temple with Hadimba devi who was wife of Pandav Bhim. The temple is surrounded by lush greenery and best wooden architecture you have ever seen here. Inside, you have to get into a small cave to see the main idols and footprints.
Manikaran Gurudwara: – Manikaran gurudwara is one of the holy sites for sikhs and is situated very close to the siva temple. The beas river and the surrounding mountains give a very picturesque view of this holy temple. There is also a hot springs pool where devotees take bath rid their all sins.
Vahsisht Temple: – One of the tourists attraction in Manali, named after Rishi Vashist. Inside the temple there is a black stone image of the Rishi wearing dhoti. The interior of this temple is traditional. People here come for baths to take a dip and rid themselves of skin infections and diseases. It has separate bathrooms for men and women.
Solang valley: – solang valley is a place of snow where one can do many snow activities like paragliding, snow biking, rope eating etc. the view of snow will mesmerize anyone.
Manu Temple: – This temple is situated in Old Manali, surrounded by mountain and valley. On the way you can taste some local food in restaurant and café. It is believed that the only temple in India dedicated to Manu, who is creator of human.
Jogini waterfall: – located about 3km from main market. Here you can enjoy the 20 minutes trek to the top of fall and see the magic of nature.
Old Manali: – a beautiful village where you see the tradition and culture of Himalaya. You can find many restaurants who serve delicious cuisines like Pasta, Burgers and mouthwatering Pizzas.
Mall Road: – you can find mall road at every hill station which is crowded but at the same time favorite place for tourist where you enjoy having local food, buy some local handicrafts items and accessories of Manali during your Manali Trip.
