 Places to eat in Srinagar

If you’re really a ‘foodie’… restaurants in Srinagar aren’t necessarily the way to go. I agree with Mughal Darbar for consistently decent traditional fare. For something a little more interesting, still on Boulevard Rd., across from Nehru Park down a side street is a Tibetan restaurant called Llasa. Its family runs with nice outdoor garden seating. On Residency Rd. there’s another gem called Samci with excellent quality food, slow but professional service, and more local dishes.

Ahdoos is a nice ambiance makes you feel for sure a kashmiri, with their specialization Kashmiri traditional food. Located near Dal lake on the Lal chowk is a perfect place post a crazy day of shopping your favorite Panchus and Pherans. You definitely try Wazwan which is a Kashmiri Thali served with one plate rice and one kebab and all the Kashmiri items.
